Who is JESUS in Islaam and how do Muslims revere him?
Muslims are REQUIRED to believe in all of the Prophets - Adam, Noah, Lot, Abraham, Moses, David, Solomon, John the Baptist, Job, Joseph, Muhammad, and JESUS the Son of Mary
All these names are amongst the 25 Great Prophets required for Muslims to know their names and their history
Jesus, Noah, Moses, Abraham, and Muhammad (Peace be Upon Them) are also called the `Ulil Azmi' - the Prophets with the greatest challenges and determination - for their great task of bringing the people back to the teachings of Islaam - believing and worshipping only One God, fighting all sorts of paganism, idolatry, atheism and rebellion against God.
Muslims believe that Jesus is a human born without a father by Mary an immaculate woman. Jesus was sent to the Children of Israel. He was not crucified, but he was risen to the Heaven and will descend on earth to fight and kill the Dajjal (Anti Christ) and the disbelievers.
Muslims can read verses in the Quran about Mary, Prophet Jesus and his companions the apostles (Hawariyyun) the fishermen against the Jewish lords who opposed Jesus and brought him to Roman persecution to be crucified. Jesus was betrayed by Iscariot, but God saved Jesus and it was the betrayer who was crucified and died on the cross. Jesus escaped and was raised to Heaven.
God Himself communicated with Jesus and the Prophet said `Never have I claimed to be God, or the Son of God; I am only a Messenger to carry God's guidance and warnings to the Children of Israel (Jews)'.
Muslims never insulted Jesus the same way that Hollywood / American actors in films and television who insulted him by using the word `Jesus' in despicable manners (after all, Hollywood films are Jewish owned)
Why are Jews so hateful of Mary and Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him)? And why do Muslims get accused of insulting them?

The Truth about Jesus (Part One): The Muslim Nation is More Worthy of Jesus Than All Others
A Teen Discovers Islam Through the Teachings of Jesus
By Harry Joseph
05/09/2004
For many years of my young life, but most profoundly in recent times, I have been in avid pursuit of God and His universal Truth. I live in a New England suburban town, and I enjoy many things, including music, reading, and camping; however, religion and God have always been important in my life, and I have always had a relationship with Him.
I was previously a Christian and was very happy and content with my faith; however, I came to realize that much of what I believed was `un-Christian' by doctrinal standards. Also, I was becoming rather interested and intrigued by other religions in an attempt to promote universality, yet many Christians are against learning, and especially practicing other religions. Mind you, I have received my share of `watch out with that stuff and don't be deceived' and `the Bible is God's only truth.' However, I realized that a loving, kind, and merciful God such as Allah would not limit Himself to one group of people. Soon enough, I was immersed in the teachings of Gautama Buddha and of Hindu yogis, and yes, I even got myself a copy of the Holy Qur'an.
I'm not entirely sure why I first decided to buy an English Interpretation of the Qur'an, but I believe it had something to do with me wanting to learn about a faith which was almost entirely foreign to me. As I eagerly thumbed through the pages I felt something inside me saying, very quietly at first, `This is indeed the Word of God.' Now, being a Christian I was taught that the Bible is God's only preserved, perfect, and unchanged Word.
Islam has the passion and love of Christianity and the law and ritual of Judaism.
At first, Islam was just an interest of mine, some intellectual theology that I could dabble in from time to time. I was at first very reluctant to call the Qur'an the Word of God, and I didn't really know much about Muhammad (pbuh) at the time.
Meanwhile, I also spent time reading the Bible, especially the teachings of Jesus (pbuh) and the wisdom literature in the Old Testament. While reading what Jesus taught, I thought to myself, `This Messenger taught Truth, and God has given me so much through him. Yet, why are so many Christians hypocritical, often harsh against others beliefs, and why has Church doctrine invented beliefs calling it God's Word?' When thoughts like this and thoughts pertaining to the falseness of the Trinity (which was invented at the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD) came into my mind, it was at this time when Islam began coming into my life.
My history teacher, a Christian, once told me that every misconception about Islam is untrue (i.e. Muhammad was a terrorist, he is the Muslim Jesus, peace be upon both Prophets, etc, etc) and was very pleased with my reading of the Qur'an and open-mindedness. I soon came to accept the truth of Islam; ironically, to Christians at least, there was a prominent figure that inspired me to convert to Islam: Jesus Christ (pbuh).
I recognized the similarity and importance of what he taught in many passages of the Qur'an. I saw how the Qur'an states that Jesus (pbuh) and his teachings contain guidance, salvation, and Light. Also, I believe Muslims and Sufis refer to him sometimes as the `Word of God,' `Spirit of God,' etc, and that Muslims believe (or at least the Qur'an says) he is near stationed to God. Almost immediately I was researching Islam on the internet and I thought, `Surely this is a true faith!'
I was also influenced by Yusuf Islam, or Cat Stevens, one of my favourite musicians of all time; he made a statement in converting to Islam, and showed me that one does not need to be Arab to be a Muslim. Since I too am an avid musician in pursuit of a musical career, Yusuf showed me that living a righteous life before God should never be put aside due to music. So, I eventually took shahadah (I believe in the one true God, Allah, and that Muhammad is a Messenger of God) and became an `official' Muslim. I was fourteen upon my conversion, and er... well I'm still fourteen, but Islam has already affected me quite profoundly.
I still believe in Jesus - I wouldn't be a Muslim if I didn't!
Now, just because I now began referring to myself as a Muslim instead of a Christian didn't mean that I had to give up beliefs. I never believed in a Trinitarian God or that Jesus was God Himself; after all, Jesus taught to abide by his word and to obey the Father, and that the Father is greater than he. The only main difference was that I now recognized the validity of Muhammad's (pbuh) prophethood and the Truth of the Qur'an.
However, Islam was different to me in some respects than Christianity, but in ways that were pleasant and helpful. For example, I have always had a good relationship with God because of Jesus (pbuh) and his teachings, and I have always seen Christianity as a religion focused on God's love. At school I have many Jewish friends, and I have partaken in the Sabbath with some of them, attended holidays, etc, and I noticed that they are very law abiding, yet in talking to my friends, it seemed to me as though they didn't have that same connection/relationship with God that I and many other Christians I knew had. So my feeling was this: Christianity is great because it is focused around the love of God, but there is a lot of blind faith and mysteries involved, and that Judaism is great because many Jews live in accordance to the laws of the Torah, yet in my personal observances, it seemed as though many lacked some of that relationship.
Islam is both a religion which requires certain beliefs and is focused around the love of God/a relationship with Him, and it also has a strong aspect of law abiding, and ritual; in short, it has the passion and love of Christianity and the law and ritual of Judaism. These two are of course a fine combination if one wishes to know God and be obedient of His commandments.
As I partially mentioned before, my conversion to Islam was not an entirely huge step for me, because I was already a very spiritual person in touch with God; however, upon my conversion I found myself reading the Qur'an a lot, learning about the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and researching all aspects of Islam. Soon enough, I learned how to do the ritual prayer and even if I don't pray at all during the day (I'm trying to improve on that), I usually pray at night, often for long periods of time (20 minutes to an hour) because after the ritual prayer I stay prostrate before God thanking Him for what he has blessed me with, praising Him, etc. Prayer is indeed the door to the Eternal, and when I finish praying I feel `intoxicated' with God's presence and I am often at a heart-warming peace.
My family has no qualms about me converting to Islam; I still believe in Jesus (I wouldn't be a Muslim if I didn't!), I haven't gone to extremes like changing my name to an Arabic one, and I will still celebrate Christmas and Easter with my family in addition to Ramadan and other Muslim holidays. I know that neither Christian holiday is prescribed by God, yet I feel I need celebrate them now not because of my religious upbringing, but mainly for love of my family, and I see no harm in doing so as long as I know in my heart what it is that I am really celebrating. I have been brought up to shun the pagan ideas and commercialism that pertains to these holidays. I know not how my friends will react to my conversion, but it's not like I shall be walking around campus professing that I am a Muslim, but if anyone asks me or religious status comes up in conversation, I will be proud to say I am a Muslim, just as I was proud to say I was a Christian. I hope to God that anyone who hears about my religious conversion will see me the same way as they did before.
The main impact that Islam has had on my life is that now, more than ever, I find myself in great obedience to God. I'm almost never angry, I don't swear, I obey the Qur'an to the best of my abilities, and any minor sin I may commit (i.e. lust) I ask immediate forgiveness from God. I am also very jovial and peaceful, and I have excelled in wisdom. God even inspired me to write an essay in which I propose a non-Trinitarian way of viewing the nature of God which can be fully accepted by both Muslims and Christians.
What really matters is one's relationship with God and obeying His commands that leads to eternal life and salvation.
I feel as though in recent times I know God more than ever. I have also become greatly influenced by Sufism; the writings of Sufi saints are filled with wisdom, simplicity, and they profess their love of God so greatly. In reading the Sufi wisdom/religious literature, I realized something very important: I was always taught to believe in God and Jesus (pbuh) so that I may have eternal life, yet one day I realized that I do not believe in God and His Messengers and His commandments so that I can live forever, but because of my undying love and supreme reverence for the Almighty.
God exists here and now, on Earth, and you must look inside yourselves and around you at His Creation to find Him. Why wait for eternity to come when you can experience God's presence anywhere at any time? Islam has indeed made me spiritually stronger than ever, and I thank God for inviting me to be a part of it. I wish the entire world could know how great Islam really is and stop judging it by the actions of a few men (terrorists and fundamentalists) who bring shame to Islam and the name of God.
As advice to Muslims and non-Muslims alike, don't take seriously what is written negatively about Islam on the internet, especially on Christian websites: I have read horrible things including: Islam is a cult, it leads people away from God, Muslims don't believe in Jesus, Allah is not God or Yahweh, and even a site which poked fun at Islam, instructing Christians how to kindly point out contradictions in the Qur'an or Muslim belief to get Muslims to convert to Christianity, etc.
The real truth is, it doesn't matter what religious title you hold (Christian, Muslim, Jew, Hindu); it is one's relationship with God and obeying His commands that leads to eternal life and salvation. To any Christian who may be sceptical about this simple statement on the ticket to eternal life, ask Jesus: `Whoever hears my word and believes in the one who sent me (God) has eternal life.' (Jn 5:24) And to support it with a Qur'anic passage: `O believers, believe in God and His Messenger(s), and the Book He has sent down on His Messenger (Muhammad), and the Book (Gospel) which he sent down before.' (Qur'an 4:135) In the prior, as in the latter, there is no complex theology: just God and His Messengers.
I hope and pray that there shall be a day when every person shall bow before God Almighty, and love Him with the greatest of love. May the Truth guide all men to salvation, and may the Eternal engulf them in His ever embracing Light.
Jesus & Islaam
It is a shame that Jesus' place in Islaam is often misunderstood in the West. People seem surprised when told that Islaam affirms Jesus' birth by a virgin. He was a righteous man, a prophet sent by God to remind the Children of Israel of the importance of worshipping the only true God. By God's leave he performed miracles such as healing the blind, healing the lepers, and reviving the dead. He is the Messiah, a word from God, and a man who spoke the truth which he learnt from God. Honored in this world and the hereafter, he is one of those brought nearest to God. Here is a brief introduction to what Islaam says about Jesus, as revealed through the Holy Qur'aan:
Jesus was born of a virgin:
[al-Imran 3:47]
She said: "O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man hath touched me?" He said: "Even so: God createth what He willeth: When He hath decreed a plan, He but saith to it, 'Be,' and it is!
By God's leave, Jesus performed many miracles:
[al-Imran 3:49]
"And (appoint him) an apostle to the Children of Israel, (with this message): "'I have come to you, with a Sign from your Lord, in that I make for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by God's leave: And I heal those born blind, and the lepers, and I quicken the dead, by God's leave; and I declare to you what ye eat, and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe;
[al-Ma'idah 5:113] Then will God say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Recount My favor to thee and to thy mother. Behold! I strengthened thee with the holy spirit, so that thou didst speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. Behold! I taught thee the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel and behold! thou makest out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, by My leave, and thou breathest into it and it becometh a bird by My leave, and thou healest those born blind, and the lepers, by My leave. And behold! thou bringest forth the dead by My leave. And behold! I did restrain the Children of Israel from (violence to) thee when thou didst show them the clear Signs, and the unbelievers among them said: 'This is nothing but evident magic.'
Jesus was a righteous servant of God:
[al-An`am 6:85] And Zakariya and John, and Jesus and Elias: all in the ranks of the righteous:
[Maryam 19:30] He said: "I am indeed a servant of God: He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet;

The Truth about Jesus (Part One): The Muslim Nation is More Worthy of Jesus Than All Others
Yahya Adel Ibrahim
http://www.islaam.com//Article.aspx?id=547
All Praise is for Allah alone. He is the Rabb of all that exists. Surely, we send the highest Salah and Salam upon the Final Prophet, the leader of the pious and upon his family, companions and those who follow their example with Ih'san till the Day of Reckoning.
Amma Ba'du:
One of the greatest hurdles confronting Muslims today is a lack of knowledge about certain essential beliefs that we as Muslims must unwaveringly adhere to. Of the most pertinent issues facing Muslims living in localities that are heavily influenced by western culture is how we view 'Issa bin Marium -Jesus the Son of Mary – 'alihi as-Salaam (AS).
On a cyclical basis we are confronted with different "religious" occasions that are marked by our Christian neighbours, coworkers and acquaintances. It is paramount that we as Muslims have a firm understanding of what he – 'Issa (AS) represents to us as Muslims. Whether it is Easter Monday or Christmas day, we as Muslims should know what Islam says about the issues that are presented to us on a regular basis.
This four part series will attempt to expound upon the basic knowledge that Muslims may already have. It will also seek to introduce evidences from the Nobel Quran and the Pure Sunnah with regards to issues that may not have been discussed in detail before. There are four main issues regarding 'Issa bin Marium (AS) that we as Muslims must have knowledge of.
* The Muslim Nation is more Worthy of 'Issa than all the other nations.
* Who was Marium? And the Truth about the Immaculate Conception and the Birth of 'Isaa (AS).
* The Life and Near Death of 'Issa (AS).
* The Inevitable Return of 'Issa to Slay the Dajjal (One-eyed liar or the Anti-Christ) and Lead the Muslim Nation.
We will attempt to deal with each of these four points – beginning here with Part one – in a knowledge based manner. The opinions expressed will be those that are held by the majority of the Scholars of Islam. The weaker opinions or those that do not have an evidentiary basis will not be discussed unless to show their inaccuracy or incorrectness. In discussing this issue we will only turn to the verified sources of authenticity. We will only narrate that which is accepted as true and verified by the Muslim scholars of past and present. We will not look into sources that do not have an Islamic basis. A Muslim writes this discussion for Muslims, from exclusively Islamic scholarly sources. To debate these issues from others sources (Bible) is a wholly separate discussion that has no place here.
The Muslim Nation is more Worthy of 'Issa than all others
The one who claims that 'Issa (AS) is God, or that 'Issa (AS) is the Son of God, or that God is a Trinity that includes 'Issa is in fact the most distant from the teachings of 'Issa (AS) even if he calls himself a devout Christian. Claiming love for someone implies that you adhere to what that individual stood for and called to. 'Issa (AS) was never one who claimed any one of the previous three statements for himself. In fact neither did his true followers.
For this to become clear we will analyze four main points:
1. The Prophets of Allah are all Related.
2. The Only accepted Deen (Religious Way of Life) is Islam.
3. 'Issa was but a humble Messenger and Prophet of Allah.
4. 'Issa distances himself from the slander and unjustified claims of Christians.
The Prophets of Allah are all related
Rasool Allah (SAAW) said:
"I am the most worthy of 'Issa bin Marium in this life and in the hereafter." They (Sahaba) asked: "Why is that O Messenger of Allah (SAAW)?" He (SAAW) replied: "The Prophets are paternal (bloodline) brethren (from fathers side). Their mothers may be different (races, peoples, bloodlines) yet their Deen is always one (Islam)." Reported by Bukhari and Muslim.
Therefore this necessitates that he who disputes the validity of one of the true Prophets and Messengers has in fact reviled and disputed all of them. One cannot believe in Muhammad (SAAW) and not believe in 'Issa (AS). Equally, one cannot truly believe in 'Issa and not believe in Muhammad (SAAW). To truly accept one Prophet or Messenger necessitates the acceptance of all those who came before him and all who will come after him, ending with Muhammad (SAAW).
This concept is clearly portrayed in the Quran. Allah (SWT) mentions the first Messenger to humanity Nuh or Noah (AS) in the Quran. What is very interesting is that Allah (SWT) states in Surat ash-Shu'arah (26:105) that "Nuh's people disbelieved the Messengers." The point of relevance is that a plural (Messengers) is used in this ayah, yet we know that there were no Messengers sent to his people or humanity as a matter of fact. Allah only sent Nuh (AS) to his people and none other before him. This same concept is further emphasized in the same Surat. Allah (SWT) says:
"'Ad's people disbelieved the Messengers." Ash-Shu'rah (26:123)
"Thamud's people disbelieved the Messengers." Ash-Shu'rah (26:141)
"Lut's (Lot's) people disbelieved the Messengers." Ash-Shu'rah (26:160)
We know that to each of these people only one Messenger was sent to them.
Disbelieving in one Prophet or Messenger is disbelief in all the Prophets and Messengers.
Allah (SWT) says:
"The Messenger (Muhammad) believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers. Each believes in Allah, His Angels, His Books, and His Messengers. (They say,) 'We make no distinction between one another of His Messengers.'" Al-Baqarah (2:285)
Therefore all the Prophets and Messengers are a fraternity of brethren through the lineage of their fathers. Even 'Issa (AS), who was born without a fathers' input into the equation of procreation is from the family of Bani Israel the descendant of Ishaq (Isaac) son of Ya 'qoub or Jacob (AS).
Even more important is to know that all the Prophets called to one and the same thing –Islam. This brings us to the second point of our analysis:
The Only accepted Deen (Religious Way of Life) is Islam
Allah (SWT) says: "Truly the religion with Allah is Islam." Ali-'Imran (3:19)
All of the Prophets and Messengers came calling to the one true faith. They all were sent with one mission. They were selected to call people to singling out only Allah in worship and to disavow all other gods or deities while establishing Allah (SWT) alone as the One deserving all worship. All the Prophets and Messengers called their respective peoples to Islam.
Nuh (AS) called to Islam: Allah (SWT) says: "(Nuh said) But if you turn away (from accepting Islamic Monotheism) then no reward have I asked of you, my reward is only from Allah, and I have been commanded to be of the Muslims!" Yunus (10:72)
Ibrahim and Ya'qoub or Abraham and Jacob (AS) called to Islam: Allah (SWT) says:
"And who turns away from the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham) except him who befools himself? Truly, We chose him in this world and verily, in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous.
When his Lord said to him, 'Submit (Be Muslim)!' He said, 'I have submitted myself (I am Muslim) to the Lord of the all that exists.'
And this (Islam) was enjoined by Ibrahim upon his sons and by Ya'qoub (Jacob) saying, 'O My sons! Allah has chosen for you the (true) religion, die not then except in the Faith of Islam (as Muslims).'
Or were you witnesses when death approached Ya'qoub? When he said to his sons, 'What will you worship after me (my death)?' They said, 'We shall worship your God (Allah) and the God of your fathers, Ibrahim, Isma'eel (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac). The One (God), and to Him we submit (are Muslim).'" Al-Baqarah (2:130-133)
Musa or Moses (AS) came with nothing other than Islam. Allah (SWT) says:
"And Musa said: 'O my People! If you have believed in Allah, then put your trust in Him if you are Muslims.'" Yunus (10:84)
Yusuf or Joseph (AS) came calling his people to Islam. Allah (SWT) says:
"(Yusuf supplicated) My Lord! You have indeed bestowed on me of the sovereignty, and taught me something of the interpretation of dreams – the (Only) Creator of the heavens and the earth! You (O Allah) are my Wali (Protector, Helper, Supporter, Guardian) in this world and in the Hereafter. Cause me to die as a Muslim (submitting to You alone) and join me with the righteous." Yusuf (12:101)
In turn, 'Issa bin Marium (AS) came calling his people only to Islam. Allah (SWT) says: "Then when 'Issa came to know of their disbelief, he said: 'Who will be my helpers in Allah's Cause?' The disciples said: 'We are the helpers of Allah; we believe in Allah, and bear witness that we are Muslims.'"
Ali-'Imran (3:52)
And the finality of Prophethood, the Imam of the Messengers and the Leader of the Righteous, Muhammad (SAAW) was sent calling all of humanity not just a single people to Islam. Allah (SWT) says:
"This day I have perfected your religion for you (all humanity), completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion." Al-Ma'idah (5:3)
The religion of all those truly sent by Allah as Messengers was Islam.
'Issa was but a humble Messenger and Prophet of Allah.
What is quite amusing to see is that there are those who accept the concept of Monotheism (Jews and Christians) yet reject it at the same time. The Jews reject known Prophets and Messengers of Allah. They at times went as far as executing them. This was planned for 'Issa as will be explained later on in our discussions. Allah (SWT) describes this vividly in the Quran:
"Is it that whenever there came to you a Messenger with what you yourselves desired not, you grew arrogant? Some you disbelieved and some you killed." Al-Baqarah 2:87
On the other hand, those who claimed Christianity went too far in the veneration of their Prophet and Messenger 'Issa. They corrupted his teachings by claiming for him things that he never stated for him self. They elevated 'Issa after his departing them to a paganistic status that nullified whatever Monotheistic faith they had in their hearts.
Allah (SWT) says:
"And they say: 'The Most Gracious (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children).' Indeed you have brought forth (said) a most terrible, evil thing. Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, that they ascribe a son (or offspring) to the Most Gracious.
But it is not befitting (the Majesty) of the Most Gracious (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring).
There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Gracious as a slave." Marium (19:88-93)
Shaykhul Islam Ibn al-Qayyim has a beautiful poem dispelling the falsities and irrational of Christians past and present. He poetically states:
To the worshippers of the Messiah ('Issa) we put forth a question.
We seek an answer from those who have comprehension.
If a god was to be put to death by a people
Can he be truly godly?
Stranger than a god being interned in a grave,
Is being confined in a womb
Remaining for nine months
In darkness; nourished from his mothers blood
Finally exiting the birth canal a small weak child
With open mouth seeking a breast to suckle
Suckling thus necessitating urination and defecation
Is this the God that you claim?!
Quite simply he is but a man who was chosen by Allah (SWT) as a caller to guidance and righteousness. Allah (SWT) says:
"The Messiah ('Issa) bin Marium, was no more than a Messenger, many who were Messengers have passed away before him. His mother (Mary) was a Sidiqah (believed in Words of Allah). Both of them used to eat food (as all other human beings). Look how We make the Ayat (proofs, evidences, lessons, examples) clear to them; yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth)." Al-Ma'idah (5:75)
Some will ask, how can someone be born to a virgin mother and not be divine?
Allah (SWT) answers:
"Verily, the likeness of 'Issa before Allah is the likeness of Adam. He created him (Adam) from dust, then (He) said to him: 'Be!' – and he was."
Ali-'Imran (3:59)
Surely the creation of a complete physical man from dust is greater than the creation of 'Issa. If Adam (AS) is not thought of as being divine, then why has the same claim been made for 'Issa (AS)?
'Issa distances himself from the slander and unjustified claims of Christians.
Allah (SWT) gives us a glimpse of what will be spoken by 'Issa on the Day of Judgment in defense of himself and proclaiming his innocence and freedom from the unjustified claims of those who ascribed to him abominable lies.
Allah (SWT) mentions this to us in the concluding verses of Surat al-Ma'idah.
"And (remember) when Allah will say (on the Day of Ressurection):
'O 'Issa, son of Marium! Did you say unto men: 'Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allah?''
He ('Issa) will say: 'Glory is to You (Alone)! It was not for me to say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, You surely, have known it. You know what is in my inner-self though I do not know what is in Yours; truly You, only You, are the All-Knower of all that is hidden and (unseen).'
'Never did I say to them except what You (Allah) commanded me to say: 'Worship Allah, My Lord and Your Lord.' And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them, but when You took me up, You were the Watcher over them; and You are a Witness to all things.'
'If You punish them, they are Your slaves, and if You forgive them, verily, You, only You, are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.'
Allah will say: 'This is a Day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: Theirs are Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise) – they shall abide therein forever.' Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. That is the great success (Paradise).
To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is therein, and He is Able to do all things." Al-Ma'idah (5:116-120)
These are the words of truth that are undeniable by the one who possesses insight, rational and a clear understanding of Allah.
In our upcoming discussion we will analyze and discuss the Immaculate Conception from the Muslim perspective. Who was Marium and why was she chosen by Allah to carry 'Issa (AS)? How was she made to conceive him? What were the circumstances before and after the Miraculous birth of 'Issa (AS)?
These and other points will be discussed in part two of this four part series seeking to learn about the slandered and oppressed Prophet and Messenger of Allah 'Issa bin Marium.
